Witness For Peace is organizing a
People-to-People licensed trip that
will allow U.S. citizens to legally travel to Cuba. This trip is scheduled in
late January and early February for educators and others who want to visit and
study Cuba's urban and rural educational programs from primary to university
levels, including the Latin American School of Medicine and the National School
of Music. The itinerary will include meetings with professionals, families,
elected officials, neighborhood organizing committees, and visits to many

- Research Cuban national priorities, such as universal
education and health care.
- Investigate the effects of the U.S. embargo on the Cuban
educational system and educational exchange.
- Visit educational sites at all levels and research the
history of Cuba’s universal education plan.
- Collaborate with educational professionals of the
Association of Educators.
- Visit the Ministry of Education.
This is a legally licensed People-to-People
delegation, which will offer a full-time schedule of educational exchange
activities that will result in meaningful interaction between the travelers and
individuals in Cuba.
