An exciting opportunity to learn first hand from Cuban Communities!

This delegation will center on people of color (POC) to understand the roots of culture, art, and healthcare from the perspective of the Cuban people. Delegates will travel to both rural and urban areas of Cuba to learn from communities, and in particular women and women of color, about the impact of the U.S. embargo. Delegates will explore art, gender, cultural movements and holistic healthcare. What role does art play in energizing and keeping the Cuban culture and a sense of community alive? How does art create conversations about social change in Cuba and what can we learn from art movements so rich and rooted in POC culture
