Pacific Northwest

Mission

WFPNW supports peace, justice and sustainable economies in the Americas by promoting change in governmental policies and corporate practices that contribute to poverty and oppression in Latin America. Toward this end we undertake informational programs, advocacy campaigns, and educational delegations to raise awareness of the issues affecting the people and governments of the Western Hemisphere. We are a politically independent, grassroots organization, whose members are led by faith and conscience and a commitment to nonviolence.

The Pacific Northwest region includes Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska.

** Witness for Peace Northwest was awarded the 2008 Spokane Peace Prize Chief Joseph Award for our peacemaking work in the Pacific Northwest! **
