Sara Joseph, Communications Associate

Sara joined the Witness for Peace team in March 2010 and is based out of the Managua, Nicaragua office.  As the Communications Associate, she is responsible for Witness for Peace's electronic communications, social media campaigns and materials production.

Sara holds a B.A. in Latin American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  As a Robertson Scholar, Sara completed coursework at Duke University and held internships related to public health in Atlanta, Argentina and Kenya.  She is also an alumnus of the School for International Training's semester abroad program in Nicaragua. 

Previously, Sara has organized press conferences in support of strong public water systems, volunteered with a sea turtle conservation project in Costa Rica and bicycled from coast-to-coast of the United States as a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity.

She is originally from Boston, MA.
