U.S. Colombia Free Trade Agreement

Business interests in the U.S. and Colombia have been pushing a free trade agreement that would force Colombia’s poor majority further into poverty while putting U.S. jobs at risk. It is time to leave behind the failed free trade policies of the past and forge economic ties between the U.S. and Latin America that spur people-centered development. The U.S. should help create opportunities for small farmers, the rural poor, and endangered workers.
