Witness for Peace NE is proud to bring Indigenous Colombian Leader Ligna Pulido to New England. Sra. Pulido will speak on U.S. policy in Colombia, particularly the Colombian Consolidation Plan, and the effects of these policies on indigenous communities and, especially, on women. This dynamic, knowledgeable speaker will illuminate the connections between militarization, trade agreements, indigenous rights, women's rights, land rights, and environmental protection.
