Join us in Colombia this summer as we accompany threatened communities and learn about the effects of U.S. policy

What does organizing between the U.S. and Colombia look like?

As the peace accords are implemented in Colombia and the Trump administration in the U.S. carries out controversial policies against its citizens, Colombian and U.S. citizens have begun to notice parallels across borders. Attacks and discrimination against activists and human rights defenders are increasing in both countries, especially when it comes to Afro-descendent people, indigenous people, impoverished peoples, women, campesino communities, and displaced people and immigrants. The U.S. and Colombia are connected in their struggle, and WFP partners in Colombia have asked for international solidarity and joint organizing with U.S. communities.
